Ingredients

American Wagyu Tri-Tip

Salt

Pepper

Olive Oil
Directions
Let Tri-Tip come to room temperature for about 30 minutes
Pre-Heat oven to 250 degrees
Generously apply Salt and Pepper to all sides of the Tri-Tip
Place on rack or baking pan and put on the middle rack of the pre-heated oven.
Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 150 degrees for medium rare
Pre-heat skillet on medium-high heat
Add a small amount of olive oil to skillet
Place Tri-Tip in the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, including the small edges, until a crisp, golden-brown crust forms
Allow steak to rest on a plate or cutting board at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving
Always slice against the grain for optimal tenderness
